NOBLE VILLAGE BOARD 4/18/25 At Mondays Noble Village Board meeting Mayor Brad Kessler
told trustees that the new public restrooms at the Noble Park have sprung a
leak. After
the park bathrooms were dewinterized by village
employees, a water leak was found in one of the walls. A contract plumber
said if the issue was something they did while winterizing the restrooms they
would fix the problem for the village. Costing the village approximately
$154,500, the new facility is barely over a year old. In
other projects discussed that night, Municipal Engineer Mike Bridges has
reviewed the condition of some village streets and met with the committee
earlier this month. An estimate to chip and oil the roads will be given
by the engineer at the village’s next meeting. Other
projects have been estimated by Bridges with the engineer in February
estimating nearly $100,000 to improve drainage at Noble Cemetery and East
Cherry Street. Sewer lagoon grant bids estimated at over $570,000, will
be opened to the public at 10 am on April 24th. The
village Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 2 pm tomorrow at Noble Park and may be
its last for lack of volunteers. And on Wednesday, April 30th,
a village cleanup day has been scheduled. In May, Noble has two events planned.
MayFest, a car show, will be held in Noble Park
on Saturday, May 3rd, and on Saturday, May 17th, a
village wide garage sale will take place. Lastly,
the village may be looking to fill the position of Village Clerk.
